I am a Senior at Travis High School and a student at the James Reese Career and Technical Center in Fort Bend ISD. I discovered my passion for video production during my sophomore year, when I began taking Audio Video Production I and Principles of Audio Video Production at the Tech Center. Since then, I've continued in the Business & Industry CTE Pathway by advancing into Audio Video Production II, building my skills in filming, editing, and storytelling.
Today, I apply those skills in real-world settings as I am in the third year of the Audio Video Production Program, Practicum. I am a student Intern Practicum for Fort Bend ISD Athletics. I work with industry-standard Daktronics systems, putting up the graphics that appear on the screen during football or basketball games. I am responsible for making the visuals you see on screen. During each football game, I get media from the game, which I can then turn into a graphic that will appear onscreen. For the basketball games, I make graphics for the beginning of the game, run sponsorship advertisements, and keep the players who are actually in the game on the screen.
In addition to my work with athletics, I am also a Student Intern for Fort Bend ISD Communications, where I help cover district events and produce content used for marketing, social media, websites, and newsletters. I film and photograph events across the district, edit the content, and deliver polished media that aligns with FBISD’s branding and communication standards.
I am also the Sergeant at Arms for the Reese Technology Student Association.
